Panel Discussion: Candidates and participating school districts will attend and observe a 45-minute virtual panel discussion webinar. Panelists will discuss:

  • How has your school district worked to address diversity issues?

  • What resources exist in your district to support the success of diverse teachers?

  • What advice would you give to diverse candidates who are searching for a teaching job?

Mini-Webinar Workshops: Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in brief 25-minute webinar workshops. Three time slots (10:00-10:25, 10:30-10:55, 11:00-11:25); four topics (see below); candidates can select 3 workshops to attend; presenters repeat the workshop 3 times during the time slots.

Please Note: Following the event, school districts will schedule their own interviews with interested candidates (virtually or in person as the district decides) to occur on a later date(s).

COMPLETE THE PARTICIPANT SURVEY TO HAVE A CHANCE AT ONE OF 12 FREE 30-MINUTE CONSULTATIONS WITH AN LHCSPA HR LEADER!

-We are seeking feedback at the conclusion of the event from participants about the experience. We will select at random 12 participants from among those who have completed the Job Fair Evaluation to be matched with an regional HR leader for a one-on-one resume/cover letter/interview consultation.
